Does high quality care matter?Or is mediocre ok?It's a silly question, isn't it?Of course, when it comes to healthcare, quality is extremely important!Which is why, at our clinic, we place such an emphasis on offering high quality care.So what does this look like?First, we have an online booking system. So instead of coming in and waiting to be seen, you can choose a time that suits you.Which means you can rest at home while you wait rather than sitting in the waiting room.We only hire high quality staff who will put your wellbeing #1.If someone has a "good enough" attitude, they have no place on my team.Because we know how important it is to assess you quickly and create a treatment plan.Help you get on the road to recovery as soon as possible.Because when you're sick or have had an accident, high quality care is everything!

Just give up.This is too hard. You'll never reach your goal.Does the voice in your head say those words? And if so, how do you answer it?When you're faced with something difficult, whether it's an obstacle like solving a tricky problem,Or a physical challenge, like bench pressing 10kg more than you've ever done before,The mental game is everything.Because, whatever you tell yourself, you'll believe. If you tell yourself you can't do it, then you'll fail. But if you tell yourself this is an opportunity for growth, you'll keep pushing. And this has been true for me throughout my career.I've had to move to a new city and start over.Built up health care services and medical practices from nothing. And created new systems out of chaos.Although each of these challenges made me push myself, I never gave up.Instead, I've always stayed focused on my goals.Because I know each time I force myself to do something hard, I'm proving that there are no limits to what I can achieve.

Have you ever need an ambulance? What was your experience like?Obviously, if you've called one, it's because you were in an emergency situation.Maybe a loved one was very sick.Or you'd hurt yourself. And you needed medical attention right away. The problem is, there's a huge shortage of healthcare workers in NZ.So you may have waited a long time before the ambulance arrived. But did you know there's another option? If you're in our clinic's area, we can come to you.Whether you've had an accident or medical emergency, we'll do a house-call.We can offer wound care, split broken bones, and treat infections. All without you having to come into the clinic.Because we know how important it is for you to get the care you need, fast. The last thing you need to do is to be left waiting hours for an ambulance to come.

Are you an early adopter?Or do you like to wait and see?Personally, if I hear of a new treatment option.Or technology that could help me give my patients better care. There's no reason to wait!I want to try it right away.Because in the medical field, there are always so many advances happening every day.And bringing these into my patient care means I'm truly giving them the very best care. This is exactly why I've invested in a tri-Lift machine for our clinic. It's one of only two of these machines in the whole country! And it's a new technology I'm really excited about.Because it means my patients can get the results of a facelift without surgery. After all, the whole point of being an early adopter is that we can offer our patients the best possible healthcare. So I'll continue to be on the lookout for new treatments so I can do just that.

The last time you went to A&EHow long did you have to wait?A few hours?Longer?Unfortunately, we have a shortage of healthcare workers in NZ.Which means it's hard to get in to see a doctor when you need one.But if you've had an accident or you're unwell, sometimes you just can't wait!Especially if you're looking after a child or elderly person.Sitting for hours in an uncomfortable waiting area isn't ok.And honestly, as a doctor who's worked in urgent care and emergency departments for many years, this has never sat right with me.Which is why I was determined to find a solution. So at my urgent care clinic, you can book your appointment online. Then you just turn up at your appointment time, knowing you'll be seen. This means you can rest at home rather than spend time sitting in a waiting room. It's a simple solution. But when you need to see a doctor, it makes a huge difference.

Do you want your wrinkle and filler treatment done properly?I think you do!And, although there are plenty of places to get it done, they aren't all the same.I've seen some unfortunate complications after cosmetic procedures. Patients who come to me wanting their face fixed after a bad experience.See, they didn't realise that cosmetic treatments are best done by a skilled professional.Someone who's extremely knowledgeable and can make sure they're done correctly. So before you choose a cosmetic clinic, do your research.Make sure you're seeing a specialist who will do it properly for you.Because, when it comes to your face, you don't want to get it wrong!

Worried about that mole? The one that looks a bit funny?Hopefully it's not melanoma, but it's better to get it checked out just in case.Unfortunately, sometimes this can be a long and complicated process. You get a biopsy and then have to wait for the results. You may get a referral to a specialist. And if they can't see you for a few weeks, or even longer, you have to carry on waiting rather than getting to the bottom of it right away.On the other hand, I take a different approach.I can diagnose and treat it for you.Because, as a trained skin care specialist, I'm trained in dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery. So once I take a look, I can help you come up with a plan based on my assessment. And I can remove it for you on the spot if that's what you need.Because, when you have a health concern, the last thing you need is to let your worry compound as you wait to be seen. When you could put your mind at ease by getting the treatment you need right away.

It's hard to keep up.Medicine's changing every day.So if I want to provide the best care for you, I can't keep doing what I did five years ago.I have to stay on top of the latest research in my field. As a skin health specialist, this means learning about the latest trends and technologies for treating things like:Skin cancers and melanomaSevere acne scarringSkin conditions such as rosacea or psoriasisSkin laxity, wrinkles, and volume lossBecause the way we approached each of these a few years ago has changed based on what we know now.I invest a lot of time into going to industry events.Attending conferences. And inviting experts into the clinic to train my team.Because, when you come to see me, I want you to feel confident you're getting the best possible care for your skin concerns.Because that's what you deserve.
